Apple Pencil isn’t working, please help me

I have an iPad generation 9th, and the first Gen Apple Pencil. They have work together in the past years, this is a recent issue. My iPad had fallen and the screen had shattered, so I had the screen replaced. Once I got it back, the pencil started to lag, and barely worked. Now, it doesn’t work at all. it will connect to the iPad, and is charged, and to my knowledge my Apple Pencil isn’t damaged, yet it still doesn’t work. Please help me!

Yes, sorry, but I do understand that there are reasons folks do.

The issue is that these third-party shops cannot obtain genuine Apple parts, nor do most of them have the proper tools and training to make effective repairs. Chances are some combination of these is what happened with the repair of your iPad. As such, this may be the cause of why you can no longer use your Apple Pencil with it.

The other unfortunate thing now, is that Apple will not help you with this repair. They pretty much just won't touch it and will tell you so. I wish I could have provided you with a more positive reply.
