iPhone 16 Pro lock screen doesn’t turn off

i’m having a weird issue on my iPhone, it surely is just a bug but i’d like to know if it is happening to somebody else: sometimes the lock screen just doesn’t turn off. and i’m not talking about the always on display, i’m talking about the FULL lock screen, like, a get a notification which turns the screen on, and then it just stays there, it doesn’t turn off anymore, i could leave it there for ten hours and it would still be there. it happened once yesterday, force rebooted the iPhone and it went back to normal, but now it’s happening all over again. that’s weird

Troubleshooting a Black iPhone Screen:

I'd say the iPhone is stuck in a Boot Loop. This can typically occur when you update something, and it got stuck while in the process.  So, refer to my user tip: How to Fix an iPhone in a Boot Loop - User Tip
