Creating a PDF invoice from Excel
Hi
I am using a Mac Mini to create my Invoices in PDF via Preview (save as PDF) from an excel file with calculations such as daily rate (£), No of Days, Sub-total, VAT, Total £ etc.
The PDF process is causing the order of magnitude to increase by x10 so the monetary amounts are incorrect…?!?
It only happens with cells formatted as currency or financial, but for ease of use / processing it is much easier for
me this way. I resort to doing manual calcs and using excel cells as text - which defies the point somewhat…
I generally have no problems with Preview and have no desire to use Adobe if I can help it.
I only use Excel, not Numbers as my Mrs helps the business with financials on a Windows Laptop.
