Mac Mini repair taking too long

Mac Mini M2, 2023 submitted to Apple Store for repair (would not start up in response to any known methods). Has been nine days. Only info provided to me is “Waiting for parts.” I’d expect Apple to have quick and easy access to parts for a recent model computer. Does anyone have any helpful information? Thanks!

We are all just fellow users here and as such will have no access to the status information for your repair. You can call Apple Support and inquire, but they'll probably just tell you the same thing, that it's waiting for parts and that they have no additional information. Frustrating, I know, but the part may have to come from overseas and shipping and customs import processing are often quite slow this time of year as it all catches up from the holidays.

Regards.

Nine days in December. Apple is as much dependent on Christmas shipper delays as the rest of us. It just took me nearly 3 weeks to get an order of coffee which normally takes a week direct from the roastery.

You cannot make any assumptions about the internal Apple service fulfillment timeline. My advice is to stay (politely) in touch with the Apple Store and be patient.
