Adding a CD to Apple Music (on a PC) not possible?

Physical media is not dead. LPs still sell as do CDs. I bought a CD from a musician after their show. I tried to add it to my iTunes—sorry, Apple Music—on my PC but there is no option for doing so in Apple Music. None. Nada. The big Zilch. Maybe Apple doesn't want you to get your music from anywhere but Apple Music? Some suggest uninstalling the upgrades to iTunes, but other say that doesn't work (and causes more problems, like loss of music, especially music you didn't buy from Apple). I can add the music CD as an audiobook but that's not a great solution either. How do I add a CD to my iTunes (dang it, I mean Apple Music) library?

My recommended solution would be to uninstall Apple Music, Apple Devices, and Apple TV so iTunes can work properly again. Failing that https://cdex.mu/ is a reasonable CD ripper.
