hello. I have the camera control button on this phone and I would like to know if I could change it to do something that isn't related to the camera? This might sound like a dumb question but I figure since it's another action button I don't see why you wouldn't be able to

I couldn’t agree more.
When I bought a new iPhone I had assumed that the new button is the action button. You know, additional button that can be set up to do whatever’s needed.
Now it turns out, you have to sacrifice the silent mode to use the actual "action button"… and the new one is a pointless camera button (like we didn’t have enough ways to launch the camera).
