Casting to Chromecast Issues

I have a couple of Chromecasts around the house, but we’re an Apple family. I use Chrome on my Mac Mini to cast, but the video and audio are consistently choppy. Oddly enough, when I cast using other devices—like my iPhone 15, Chromebooks, or Windows PCs—it works flawlessly.

Specs:

Internet: 400 Mbps via a dedicated mesh system
Device: Mac Mini (8 GB RAM, macOS 15.2, Model 24C101)

I’m completely stumped. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

Remove the Chromecasts and get Apple TV's! Also, your current network simply may not have adequate bandwidth. I am not talking about the speed of the internet signal I am speaking of the strength of the signal. If you don't have a Mesh network, you may want to look into them and determine if your home is a candidate for one.
