Podcast App Woes i iMac

How can I stop the Podcast Application from opening, at will, on my Retina 4K, 21.5-inch, 2019 iMac? It opens without me intentionally activating it. It slows down other applications that are opening or are already open. I am currently operating with Sequoia 15.1.1.

Podcast app randomly opens and asks me to login - MacOS Sonoma 14.4.1 Every ten or fifteen minutes the MacOS Podcast app opens itself up and asks me to login. This has just started happening this week and I can't figure out what is causing it. Because of the login dialog box, I have to force quit it each time. This is particularly annoying if you're doing something in a different app in full screen and then Podcast app randomly opens and pulls you out of full screen to deal with the login prompt. What is causing Podcasts to open? I thought it was hand-off but I can't trigger podcast app popping up by opening the app on my phone, or plugging my phone in and opening the app, or any similar combination of actions. From what I have read, it seems that I can't delete the podcast app to stop it from popping up either. Is anyone else having this issue and how have you solved it? Thanks. My machine is a Macbook Pro M1 Max (16" / 64GB) running Sonoma 14.4.1

macOS Sequoia 15.2 Podcasts app crashes on launch On my 2019 MacBook Pro, the Podcasts app crashes every time I launch it. This is the Crashed Thread from the Problem Report: PlatformContentSyncabilityController.updateSyncabilityQueue The podcasts app works fine on my 2019 iMac with the same version of Sequoia. Any ideas on how to figure out what's causing this?

Podcast App on iMac stuck in "unavailable loop" Ugh! I can't access my Podcasts anymore on my iMac. I found an old link to a 2012 video podcast. I clicked it, the app went to a full-size video frame (blank) and a pop-up came up saying "Episode Unavailable: This episode is temporarily unavailable." OK, fine. But when I dismiss the pop-up and click the red close button, it reopens within 2 seconds and the same "unavailable" pop-up appears! I can't stop this loop from happening! I've tried to quickly close the pop-up, and then quit the app. Restarting Podcasts brings me right back to the same blank video window and the "unavailable" pop-up. I can't access any other controls. Any suggestions???! iMac 2020; OS 11.6.5; Podcasts Version 1.1.0 (1575.1.2)
