is it possible to replace an ipod touch 4th gen battery years after it died?

My old iPod died in late 2014, I was thinking about seeing if there's a way I could get a new battery for it to get my old videos and photos off it from when I was younger but I am not sure how doable that even is?

I thought apple had cancelled every iPod related support already, yet it seems they still provide some services including battery swap for specific models. Linked below

edit: I’m sorry but it seems it is only offered for 6th or 7th gen models so you’ll probably have to look out for unofficial service options like ifixit.
