Can’t connect to projector “this accessory requires too much power”

"Can’t connect to projector 'This accessory requires too much power': Hi! I’m trying to connect my iPhone 14 to my projector using the lightning to HDMI adapter (from Amazon) and I keep getting this pop up that says it requires too much power. I’ve always been able to connect to my projector perfectly fine in the past but suddenly I’m having issues. I don’t know if this has to do with the recent updates or not but it’s really frustrating. I would really appreciate any help! Thank you."

There is not enough wattage. So, you'd need to use a ub with an external power cord.

Can it be also connected to an independently powered hub?

Maybe your battery has aged slightly, or you have more apps running on your device at present? Just guessing. Glad you got it working.
