Unable to make payment through Apple Wallet on iPhone 16

When it try to open Apple wallet on my iPhone e 16 it only shows a credit card. Can’t make payment

How are you trying to open the Wallet? Are you trying to use Apple Pay? If you are attempting to use Apple Pay to pay for something, you double-tap on the side button for it to open. If you go to the Wallet app and open in the manner, it just shows the content of the Wallet and it is not ready to be used for a payment.
