HomePod comes on when I touch the top but turns off about 5 seconds later.

HomePod. I just fixed the “no power” issue by replacing the diode. The HomePod comes on now when I touch the pad at the top but turns off 5 seconds later. It does the same thing when I keep my finger on the pad to do a reset, the light turns red but still turns off 5 seconds later. Is there a fix for this. I’ve tried several outlets and the one it was originally plugged into with no change.
