PAGES not working on iMac

Ever since last system update PAGES has not been working. Pinwheel of death.

Pages not displaying text contents iMac, purchased in February of 2025, running with Sequoia 15.3.2, does not display text contents of existing Pages documents when App is opened. Contents are there but text not displaying, as evidenced when Command/A is used to discover text in the document. In order to force the contents to display the computer has to be restarted. However, this solution lasts just for one use of the Application. Even creating a new Page document text does not display until the computer is restarted.

Pages crashes on launch ever since Sequoia 15.4 update Pages now crashes on launch every time I start up. There were no issues in Safe Mode, so I got rid of all login items and reinstalled macOS, but the issues persisted. I heard there was a Font Book bug, so I also validated all fonts and removed any with warnings (none had errors). The issue persists. I'm wondering if anyone else is having this issue.

The terminology "last system update" tells us nothing to help you. Be specific about the operating system name and version (e.g. Apple menu () -> About This Mac). The version of Pages is important because if you are running a version of Pages that is years out of date, it may fail on a newer operating system for which it was not meant to be used.
