Problems with Copy and Paste from Images in Gallery

Before the last update, I used to be able to Copy And Paste from my photos. Ex: picture with notes, reminders or anything that was written in within the photo images.

After the last update; my iPhone has stopped pasting from pictures and only sometime it’s only pasting the link to the picture . This is super annoying. No matter where I copy the picture from as previous we stated (web, WhatsApp, messenger etc) no matter the format.

How to restore the phone to its previous functionality?

I'm not clear on what you want to do. You can't (and never could) paste a picture into Photos. If you find a picture on the web like this:

that you want to put into Photos, then you long pass on the picture to pull up a menu that includes "Save to Photos." Of course, it's up to the Web Page creator to let you do this or to prevent copying.

If you want to copy a picture from Photos, then you use Share>Copy,

and then you can paste it into Notes or other apps that allow it.

If this is what you are talking about, both things work fine for me. If it doesn't work for you, have you tried a forced restart?
