How do I unlock my iPhone stuck in VoiceOver mode?

My iphone is locked. It is stuck in voiceover mode and I am not familiar with voiceover. I know my passcode. I do not know how to enter it into my iphone in voiceover mode.

Press the Home button (for devices with a Home button) or the Side button (for devices without a Home button) to wake up your iPhone.

Enter the passcode:

  • Use a single finger to explore the screen. VoiceOver will read aloud the numbers as you touch them.
  • To select a number, double-tap anywhere on the screen after VoiceOver reads out the number you want.
  • Repeat this process for each digit of your passcode.

To ensure proper functionality, please verify which one of the following features is activated:

With VoiceOver—a gesture-based screen reader—you can use iPhone even if you can't see the screen. VoiceOver gives audible descriptions of what's on your screen—from battery level, to who's calling, to which app your finger is on. You can also adjust the speaking rate and pitch to suit your needs.
