Battery health: maximum charging capacity appears stuck on 83%

It has been on 83% for at least a year despite regular use.

Theoretically Apple might not replace the battery until battery health drops to 80% but it's worth seeing if yours can be replaced anyway. I know my iPhone SE(1) has been holding at 83% for a year now but I have to charge it at least twice a day even if don't use it at all. Makes me wonder how reliable the health meter is when things drop that low? If nothing else it is a nuisance when you have to carry a backup power pack to just spend a day out and about.

Go to this web site for information about how to request battery service for your iPhone: iPhone Battery Replacement - Apple Support

For cost and availability, enter your model information in the "Get an estimate" box at the bottom. (It is best that you do this since sometimes contributors here forget this is an international forum and not everybody asking questions lives in the contributor’s country.)
