Logic Pro 11 - Problems with chord track function

I have been trying the chord track function in the last update of LP along with the session bass and keyboard players. I have encountered an extremely annoying glitch which has lost me a lot of progress on music I'm creating.

What happens is that after I manually create the chord track, after recording several tracks of audio and midi, the chord track duplicates itself and I lose all of my recorded tracks. They still play and can be seen in the mixing window but not in the tracks window where most of the work is done. It doesn't happen every time but often enough to make me not want to risk using the function.

I know from another forum that others have had this problem but no-one seems to have a solution.

If anyone has a fix I'd be eternally grateful as this is a potentially useful function for me.
