Adding a fingerprint is not working
Please provide details to add a fingerprint. This was previously working and has stopped working for some reason.
iPad Air, iPadOS 18
Per this support article:
If Touch ID isn't working on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
Apple says if this occurs that you should take the iPad to an Apple Store or authorized Apple service center or contact Apple Support for assistance.
