homekit with 2 homes

My primary home uses an Apple TV as the hub and works great. My second home uses a HomePod mini. Can I use all HomeKit devices under one home, with “door 1” for primary and “door 2” for house 2 for door locks, or do I need to set up another home in HomeKit for the home pod?

In the old architecture both my HomePod mini and Apple TV would act as hubs for both homes. However in the new architecture, it appears that a hub is limited to just one home. Apple Home can’t share without HomePod ? With the latest upgrade to home, is there no way for two individual to add/use the same accessory in their home app without an apple home pod or Apple TV ? Even in the same wifi I never have the invite button. Why is it one accessory per person/device ? I’m not going to pay 100€ just to be able for two people to control two lights !!!

HomeKit in iPadOS 17 Am I right in concluding Apple blocked iPads to be used as “Home Hub” in the HomeKit App? I did use Somfy TaHoma and HUE bridges, but in iPadOS 17 I lost connection and I cannot use them again as I cannot longer indicate my iPad as hub device. Apple is forcing me to procure HomePod or Apple TV to make use of the app again? (btw procuring additional hardware is not going to happen)

Each physically separate location needs its own "Home". Each Home needs at least one Apple TV or HomePod capable of acting as the Home Hub, which in turn is what manages any requests or automations. It is a good idea to use unique device and scene names to avoid confusion. You don't want to accidently unlock the wrong property.
