A bunch of my text are all of a sudden missing. most are from one source and the rest i believe mention the source. i looked to aee if any had just been deleted and found nothing. is thwre a way to recover those texts
I was using my phone although my tablet is also hooked up but not used to check text. My phone is a iPhone 15 Pro Max

Go to your iPhone, Messages, then tap on Edit in the upper left corner. You should see a dropdown and it contains a link named Show Recently Deleted. See if they are there. Also, are you using iCloud Messages?

Open the Messages App. Tap Edit top left corner. Tap Show Recently Deleted. If they are there, you can restore them. If they aren't there, they're gone.
