Logic Pro sends unwanted midi Messages to external synth

Logic Pro 11 sends a midi message to my Roland Fantom 08 which results in mono sounds from my synth. This happend every time when I start logic, close Logic or delete an instrument track in Logic.

I found a 5 year old solution with bypassing the control surfaces, but that's not a solution for me. It disable also my controls on virtual instruments which I often use.

I really don't know where I need to look for a good solution for this.

I don't know Roland Fantom 08, however, you can try some things:

Main Window > Track Inspector > No Reset enable the checkbox on this track

• Logic Pro >Settings > Midi > Reset Messages > External Midi check or uncheck what you need

If the issue still persist:

You can have a look here : File > Project Settings > Midi >...

I also recommend to download Midi Monitor here: https://www.snoize.com/MIDIMonitor/

and contact Roland Support / Forum

Very interesting and the mystery is even bigger.

One small addition: When I am in a Logic instrument and change to another preset (sound), then my Roland sound change to mono too. Depending on which preset I select in the Logic instrument, the sound in my Fantom change to mono or stereo (or half stereo).

Now back to the issue: When I switch to another preset in the Logic interface, I expect a midi message out (because my Fantom changes as well).

But there is no midi message. The monitor is working well I think. I see notes on and off while I playing the keys on my Fantom. But it doesn't monitor any midi message's from Logic to the fantom when I change a preset in the Logic instrument.

Now it comes: when I plug out the Midi connection (in case of the Roland it is the USB), there is no problem. The fantom stays in stereo. So somehow there is a signal via USB from Logic to the Fantom but there are no midi messages monitored. Maybe in another layer or protocol.
