iPhone 14 not receiving iMessage notifications while locked

I bought a 5th generation iPad. I have an iPhone 14. I signed into my Apple ID on my iPad. I was no longer getting iMessage notifications on my phone while it was locked, only on the iPad. I’ve made sure my notification & sound settings are correct. I’ve also turned off text message forwarding on my iPhone but still only receive texts on iPad. I tried turning off iMessage on my iPad and then I don’t receive messages on either one. I’ve tried changing my send & receive settings. Any suggestions? I receive other notifications like email etc on both while they’re locked. Just seems to be iMessag

  1. Help for Notification Alerts --> No Notification Alerts - Apple Community
  2. To turn ON notifications selectively for apps, go to Settings > Notifications > Scroll Down to the App and turn ON notifications... Change notification settings on iPhone - Apple Support (IN)
  3. Some apps have their own notification settings over and above the iOS notification settings: An example of Instagram Notification settings is given below

Notifications or Notifications Alerts?
