2 weeks ago I purchased a brand new and sealed Iphone 15 base model and I noticed the battery was draining faster than I expected (lasted 5-6 hours of use on social media, should last around 10-11 hours based on different videos I have seen testing the battery). So re the costs for the battery replacement covered by limited warranty or will I have to pay for a new battery?

Check Settings>Battery>Battery Health>Maximum Capacity. If the iPhone is less than 1 year old and the maximum capacity is 80% or lower, the battery would be under warranty. If it is above 80%, Apple will not even replace the battery.

If the battery is showing 100%, you can have Apple do a test on the battery to see if there is a problem. Use the Support link at the bottom of the page here to contact them. They can do battery tests over the air to diagnose if there is a problem with your battery. If there is an issue, they will explain your options.
Apple will replace the battery if the health level falls below 80% within the first two years of purchase.
Social media apps are notorious for high battery consumption. 5 - 6 hours seems perfectly normal for a run time using those apps.
Did you purchase from Apple or an Apple Authorized Reseller? Did you purchase Apple care+
No two people will get the same battery life unless they have the same carrier, are in the same location, are using the same apps for the same amount of time for each app. There are only 2 things that use substantial energy, cellular network traffic (voice and data) and the apps that you use.
Said brand new, the battery health is at 100%.
I said in my original post that for others it lasts longer. Also a friend of mine has the same phone and his lasts longer. So please answer my question.
Are the costs for a defficient battery replacement covered by limited warranty?
