I’d like to ask someone who has iphone 13 mini US model (A2481).
Does it have the regulatory certification from Japan?

Since I find A2481 in Japanese Apple Certified Refurbished page, which is sold out though, I'm wondering that the US model may has Japanese certifications.

The model you've shown is for an iPhone 8 (A1906) intended for sale in Japan.
Yeah, that's usually true.
Another reason is that A2481 has 4G band B21, which iPhone 16, 15, 14 families' US model doesn't have. The B21 is said to be only used in Japan.
So I'm assuming Apple might make A2481 as sellable model in Japan, where iPhone's share was high, so Apple can make inventory adjustment easy.

You might finds it has other features required that you will not be able to disable. An example is, all cameras in Japan are required to make a fairly loud shutter sound when each photo is made. This can be an issue in certain social situations, such as weddings, school plays, churches etc. This feature cannot be turned off or disabled.

Thanks for the link. Install payment prices of 13 mini in the US market were the info I didn't know. Seams like Japanese carriers' plans are kinda tricky...
Maybe I should make the point of this post clear from the first place. It may be exceptional if A2481 has Japanese certification.
Since infos on the internet ,which I got searching roughly, doesn't make this point clear, I tried to ask someone who has A2481, which seemed simple and direct way to solve the wondering....
OK. If it does or doesn't, what difference would it make for you? Are you in the US or Japan? iPhone's are sold regionally.
It does not. Only the specific models made for Japan, and some other Asian nations will have that certification.
If A2481 meets japanese regulatory, I'm gonna buy used model of it on ebay or us amazon.
Since all iPhone Japanese models don't have 5G mmWave, it might be a better option...
