Losing a text while writing

You originally posted macOS Sequoia...is this a Mac issue or an iPhone issue(?)

I have an iPhone and never had your problem.

Verify your on the current stable release of iOS including bug fixes, security updates is iOS 18.2

Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

if you are on an old phone / iOS note the current 15 is iOS 15.8.3 this would apply to your original SE (2016-17)
