Is this email legit?

I found a post here from 2015 on the same topic :

where a very exprenced member says it is legit. However, given the time since that post, I would check the actual address from which the message was sent, and run the telephone number through a search engine it see if it throws any red flags.

An Apple email message should end in "Apple.com"

If you have or recently had an open case, that message is likely valid.

If you don’t provide any sensitive info, no reason not to call.

Did you report an issue? If so it looks real. You can always google search the number to see if it’s legitimate
