Contacts not syncing between iPhone and Mac

Contacts are on, both on my iPhone and my Mac but they still don't sync. Critical client information is missing on my iPhone.

I found, read, and followed the "fix" for contacts not syncing. Contacts show "on" but sync is not happening.

Getting Contacts to Sync:

Restart your Devices. Having made such a change, you should restart your Mac, and restart your iPhone. Be certain you save what need be prior to performing the restart.

What is your default Contacts account? If none, please add the email account that hosts your costs on both devices and enable contacts.

Unlike some Android devices, contacts neither are stored locally on an iPhone nor on SIM. They are synced to an email account that you have Google, iCloud, AOL, Exchange, Outlook, Yahoo or any Other

If you have a corporate email account added through a profile on your device, please check with your organization's system administrator.

Report this to Apple:

I have not seen many reports of this. It may be a bug. Question is: "Just how many people have actually reported it to Apple?"

So, do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue.  Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of you occurrences, if you don't report it to them.

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
  2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
  3. Comment: on what the issue is, and how you’ve troubleshot it, thus far. Include the URL of this thread
  4. Proceed from there as necessary

Perhaps Tim should spend less time with Orange Boy - and more time running the country

And thanks also for a drawer full of USB, thundebolt, and other Apple "experiments" that went south -- as a company - Apple has gone downhill ... quickly
