HomePod mini reminder issue

I have just setup my first HomePod mini and every time I ask it to set a reminder it asks me to setup find my on my iPad. I have this enabled on my devices already and on the home app. What else can be causing it?

What does it mean when my AirPods on find my iPhone say a location and the date and time? It says on the map that my AirPods are at my house. When I click on them it says the title of my AirPods and below it says a location that isn’t my house and below that in red says Today at 1:20pm but I was at home at 1:20pm. So are my AirPods and my house or the location it says below them on the app?
