Mac mini SSD and External Drive Backup using Two Storage Drives

My data is stored on an external drive connected to my Mac mini, with a total data size of around 750GB.

I’m looking for a way to:

  1. Back up both my Mac mini's internal SSD and the external SSD together.
  2. Use two 1TB external drives as one combined backup, so that if one fills up, the backup continues on the second drive automatically.

I hope this makes sense!

TimeMachine can backup both your internal and external drive.

see > Back up your Mac with Time Machine - Apple Support

Just keep in mind that the Time Machine backup drive, needs to be at least 2 or 3 times larger than the drives that it is backing up.
