My second Display keeps turning off.

Hello people,

I have an Issue with connection on one of the two Displays.

One of the Displays, which is connected via HDMI, keeps turning off every like 30sec-1min. Super annoying..

Fresh configuration of the Mac mini M4. Display Hardware S32B80P, via USB-C, although having to turn on manually every start (issue in of itself), works fine. The other monitor an ASUS VG28UQL1A, connected via HDMI.

I haven't experimented with the Settings much so it should be base config.

Any thoughts on fixing the problem?

The Samsung looks like it has USB-C, DisplayPort and HDMI inputs.

The ASUS looks like it has DisplayPort and HDMI inputs.

If I'm wrong, please correct me.

These new Mac's are cable picky and in most cases the manufactures supplied cables are not up to the task.

For the Samsung I would use a short high speed USB-C to Display port cable.

For the ASUS I would use a short high speed HDMI cable or a second USB-C to DisplayPort cable.

I figured it would be something along the lines of cables but didn't think the Mac isn't compatible with non high quality cables.

I'll try order new cables. If I don't reply see it as solved.
