Garage Band freezing on Mac after sudden shutdown

My Mac laptop died while using GarageBand, when I turned it back on Garage Band was frozen with a message that says - the last selected audio interface is not available. But I can click Ok to close the message. When I press the space bar it plays the loop region I was working on.

Garageband won't open. Garage band is stuck on "updating information about audio unit plug-ins" I have tried restarting Mac, reinstalling garage band, booting in safe mode and also opening app on another used unfortunately none of this options helped and garage band is always stuck on the same loading screen.

GarageBand 10.4.8 will not open after recent Sonoma 14.0 installation. When I try to open GB it just hangs, this has only happened since the Sonoma 14.00 was installed, before this update, GB opened smoothly. I have tried the following, as suggested in other answers. Restart your Mac, Choose Restart from the Apple menu . Update GarageBand Choose Apple menu  > App Store, then click Updates in the toolbar. If a GarageBand update is available, click the Update button to download and install it. Check device or software compatibility If you're using an external audio interface, MIDI interface, storage system, control surface, or plug-in not made by Apple, make sure that it’s compatible with the latest version of GarageBand. Contact the manufacturer for support. If an update is available, follow the manufacturer’s instructions to update the device or software. GB still hangs, which is very annoying, any thoughts?

GarageBand Cycle keeps randomly skipping back to the beginning of the loop I chose a section to loop in GB and it keeps randomly skipping back to the beginning without finishing the loop. It's happening on all projects. It just started doing that today. I restarted my Mac. I turned the Cycle on and off. I tried different regions and the issue remains.
