Sharing iBooks with family

I purchased a book which I can read on my wife’s iPad in Apple Books. I would like to be able to access it on my iPad. We have unique Apple ID and are set up as a family. When I open my Apple Books app the book does not appear. I have read similar questions on the forum but the suggestions did not work.
