Keynote presentation slides are small on iPad screen when using AppleTV

In the past, while using AppleTV, the keynote slide would fill the entire iPad screen. Now, during a presentation using AppleTV, each slide image is much smaller.

Is there a way to make the slide image fill the iPad screen while presenting via AppleTV? I tried creating a presentation deck from my iPad, but got the same result as when I created decks with my iMac and accessed them via iCloud. I replaced my previous copy of Keynote for iPad with a fresh one. No improvement.

Thank you!

Hard to tell from your screenshots, but how is the presentation setup? Are the slides scaled for the iPad screen resolution or for the TV?

The aspect ratio of most iPads is 4:3, whereas most TVs are 16:9. This causes some inevitable scaling.

It looks like your slide content is scaled for 16:9, so that's a good start... the next question is whether Keynote is using the iPad as a screen mirror, or as a Presenter's screen. Each would have their own issues.

If the iPad is mirroring the TV, then there will be some scaling to fit the 16: width to the 10: of the iPad screen.

If the iPad is in Presenters mode then it will shift the slide to show notes, timers, etc. (based on your preferences/setup). TBH it doesn't look like this is the case, although it's hard to tell.

The next question is what does it look like on screen? Does it fill the TV? or are there significant borders/letterboxing?

Finally, to eliminate presentation-specific issues, is the problem replicated on old presentations that used to work as you expect? That could indicate something within the presentation settings that's causing your problem.
