DEAFENINGLY LOUD iOS notifications

I have reported this same issue so many times. I have submitted feedback and created multiple threads and contacted suppo for and it’s been present in so many different devices over the years and still in the current 15.3 β on iPhone 15 Pro this is happening.

Randomly and independent of what my system and notification audio settings are ( always at the minimum nonzero level which is and has for a decade been too loud anyway and all the audio levels like to randomly move themselves up for no reason but never mind that now ) I’ll get notifications that are EAR PIERCINGLY DEAFENINGLY LOUD

I am not exaggerating when I say it is as loud as a fire alarm SITTING RIGHT NEXT TO ME OR IN MY HAND

I don’t understand how this is such a chronic problem for apple. You have more money than god.

Please I’m begging you stop wasting time and money on things like Apple「 Intelligence 」which is garbage and basically nobody actually wants and get back to making stuff that「 just works 」

I am a technical guy and yet I’ve not been able to control the audio levels on iOS devices for again many many years over many many devices and clean installs and production builds and betas

I know everything is harder than it seems but this is such basic core functionality and I swear literally causing hearing damage and a quick search will show that I’m not at all alone here.

Please someone at Apple who has any power at all fix this and the whole slew of other notification and audio issues your stuff has.

I have personally spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on Macs and iPhones and iPads and a Vision Pro going back to the Newton Message Pad 2000 and Titanium PowerBook G4

I am not asking for something unreasonable here just make the stuff people are paying so much for work.

I’m done buying new stuff or recommending Apple to anyone until this is fixed ( and you stop using conflict minerals from Congo mined by slaves and the like, but that, also, is another issue
