iPad mini 6th gen crashes and reboots repeatedly

My new iPad mini 6th gen continuously crashes and reboots itself in a span of seconds. I can barely do anything on it.

A purple screen shows up and the device restarts itself and sometimes just restarts without the purple screen.

I cleared storage, even did a factory reset and nothings changed. I can barely get passed the set up stage after factory data erase.

Been using it for less than a week.

You might be best advised to visit the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) - where the technicians will be able to offer assistance:

Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options - Apple

If purchased directly from Apple, you have 14-days within which to unconditionally return your iPad for exchange pr refund. If applicable, you would be well advised to use this opportunity. After 14-days, faults will be handled under Apple's standard warranty terms - which may entail your iPad being replaced with a reconditioned/renewed iPad of the same model and specification.
