Why is SharePlay remote control not working on iOS 18.2?

Both users are on IOS 18.2. I have an iphone 11 and my mother has an iphone 12. When I try to remote control her iphone during a facetime call, the screen sharing works, but when I try to engage remote control, her screen goes white and she cannot see the "Allow/decline" dialog box to allow remote control. I can see it on my phone, but she cannot on hers. Is there a setting we're missing? Canceling the screen sharing allows her phone display to work again.

Problem solved...she had smart invert active (ON) in her settings>accessibility>Display & text size>Smart invert

Once it was turned off, the dialog box to allow remote control appeared properly and the white screen not allowing her to see the dialog went away.

Now able to remote control under shareplay with no problems. Awesome for troubleshooting remotely!
