Flex Pitch is missing consonants at the end of words

Working on a vocal track using Flex Pitch. There's a phrase that ends with the word "knows". Flex Pitch creates a marker that covers most of the word ("know"), but doesn't include the ending "s". Then upon playback, the "s" is silent and the word is cut off. It seems like with FP enabled, you don't hear sounds that lie outside markers.

(b) Is there a way to edit a marker so it includes more of a waveform, or (b) is there a way to have sounds that lie outside markers to be played anyway?
