Unable to exit lost mode without Touch ID in iPhone

My 3 y.o son lost his phone at the mall. I activated the lost mode and when we found it, I tried to exit lost mode but I am unable to do so because the phone is requiring a touch ID of which I have disabled a long time ago. How am I supposed to exit the lost mode now? The phone cannot recognize any of my fingerprint.

Assistive Touch - Security Issue I've discovered that it's possible to restart a phone using AssistiveTouch. Does this mean the phone can also be switched off without unlocking it? If so, wouldn't someone who finds a lost phone be able to turn it off without unlocking it? This seems like a potential security bug.

How can I disable lost mode on iPhone without Wi-Fi or cellular service? My iPhone SE 2020 has been put into lost mode due to an incident. However, I cannot remove it from lost mode due to its request for a fingerprint. The finger print sensor is nonfunctional due to a home button failure. The iPhone also no longer connects to wifi or cellular services, so iCloud bypass to turn off lost mode has failed as well. There are documents I need to recover that are stored locally which have not been backed up and some application local data as well, so I am looking for a way to remove lost mode from the phone despite these issues.
