I'm having issues setting up logic pro x and midi controller,

specifically Impulse by Novation not recognized in DAW.

[Regression] Vienna Ensemble Pro AU3 plugin broken with Logic Pro 10.7.5 release Reporting this Logic Pro regression on Apple channels so that we can track a fix. Since the release of Logic Pro 10.7.5 by Apple, the Vienna Ensemble Pro 7 (VEP) AU3 plugin does not work. More detailed discussion on this topic is here. This is a major impediment to professionals using Logic Pro for large-template music production, since the AU3 was the only way to connect to multi-MIDI-port (MIDI Port 2 and above) VEP instances from Logic. The 'standard' VEP7 plugin (AU2 presumably) only allows access to MIDI Port 1.
