iPhone 14 Pro Max Wi-Fi Calling Issue with 18.2 Update

I have the same issue after upgrading iPhone 14 to IOS18.2. Can only make and receive calls with WiFi calling switched off, which is inconvenient as my network signal at home is not strong. Does this problem only affect the iPhone 14 range

Looks like nothing helps . It works with certain routers but even tech guys have no idea why it’s not working . They did tunneling . They did try with vpn. There is something else going on probably . Please let me know guys if there’s is any other ways to fix that bug

Correction in my original post - I am on iPhone 16 Pro Max, not 14 Promax - apologies. However, this does confirm that this issue doesn't just affect the iPhone 14 range.

I have the same issue . I just don’t remember if it’s because of update or not . I’m in Uzbekistan and I use Google fi. I can’t use WiFi calling anymore . It just says connect to network or disable airplane mode when I’m trying to make a WiFi call. My plan supports WiFi calling and it used to work perfectly before . I think all problems started after ios update . I did reset network , used another WiFi connection , used the local hotspot but it’s still not working . I can do calls directly through cellular but it’s cost effective when you are abroad because before it was perfectly fine . Please let me know what else I can do . Contacted the carrier which is google fi and they also have no idea . Sometimes it starts working and then stops working again

There are several different threads on this same issue. Some with this issue have resolved this by contacting their carrier, other have resolved it by turning off their VPN, and others needed to remove all traces of their VPN.

I’m just throwing out what has resolved this issue for other community members.,
