Camera issues on my iPhone 11 Pro Max
Follow-Up on Camera Issue
I am writing to follow up on an issue I have been experiencing with my device’s front camera. Here is a detailed description of the situation:
• Initial Contact:
Several months ago, I contacted customer support regarding an issue with the front camera. At that time, I was informed by the support representative that the problem was hardware-related. I accepted this explanation, and the matter was considered resolved.
• Issue Resurfacing:
Recently, I installed the beta version of iOS 18 on my device. Surprisingly, the front camera started functioning normally again, without any issues. However, when I updated to the official iOS release, the issue reappeared.
• Recent Contact:
Today, I reached out to customer support again to address the recurring problem. Once more, I was told that it is a hardware issue. However, I strongly believe the problem is software-related, as the camera was functioning properly during the beta update phase.
Additionally, I recall contacting another support representative approximately a year ago regarding this same issue. At that time, they also stated it was a hardware issue. However, the fact that the camera worked briefly after a software update suggests otherwise. The last time the front camera functioned correctly was on December 5th.
Key Question:
If this issue were indeed hardware-related, why did the camera work again after the beta update and stop functioning only after installing the official iOS version?
I kindly request a more thorough investigation into this matter, as I am not convinced this is purely a hardware issue.
Thank you for your time and support. I look forward to your response.
Best regards,
