Logic Pro reseting every instrument to default

I just loaded up Logic Pro to work on a song I had been making for a while now to discover every single MIDI instrument I used (specifically using Alchemy and Logic Pro's sound library) completely reset to the default synth or piano. I spent a lot of time designing some of these sounds, and all of that work is gone. This has happened a couple times before, and I assumed I forgot to save the project before closing it, so I make sure to do that as much as possible now, combined with auto save. I don't know what is possibly going wrong here and it's honestly devastating losing hours of work to this. If anyone can give me some advice or let me know if this is happening to you too that would be so appreciated🙏
