Apple watch Battery drain after watchOS 11.2 update

My watch battery used to last more than 1 day. Since the last update 11.2) my watch drains MUCH more quickly. Watch won’t make it for even 1/2 that. Hasn’t even been 4 hours and it is half drained.

series 8 no cellular.

how can I fix thus?

I have most apps set to no background update, notifications turned off on most.

A week ago it lasted nearly 1 1/2 days.

please help

Did you try to force restart by pressing and holding the Digital Crown and the Side button together for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again?

If this does not work, unpairing the watch would be the next step:

Some users disabled the Bluetooth connection between the iPhone and the watch as a workaround, until Apple addresses this issue.

You can use the Feedback link to let them know, that your watch also has battery issues after the latest update, if the steps above do not help to stop the draining of your battery.
