My new case doesn’t fit and magnet isn’t strong

I am super excited about my brand new iPhone 16, and I got a new otter box case bought from the Apple website at the same time as the phone. The case makes the magnet very weak, and also the case does not seem deep enough to protect the phone. Is there anything I can do? Can I exchange the case? The order number is W********7
