I'm trying to uninstall the Belkin Dock Utility on a MacBook Air. The uninstall app doesn't work. And when attempting to move the Belkin dock app to trash, the message says the app is open and can't be moved to trash. I've tried to find a method to close the app, but nothing works. Any thoughts?

Launch Activity Monitor and see if you can spot any process running from Belkin. If so, click on it and click the "x" in the toolbar to stop the process. Then try running the uninstaller again.
If you continue to have problems, I'd suggest contacting Belkin support.

It'd be worth contacting Belkin support to see if they have any solutions on how to properly uninstall Belkin Dock Utility.
Also having trouble getting rid of Belkin Dock Utility on my Mac-in my case a Mac mini with the M4 chip with a Belkin Core Thunderbolt 3 dock.
This link only addresses Windows installs, not Mac OS.
Even force quitting Belkin Dock Utility didn't allow me to uninstall it.
Perhaps, ask Belkin customer support if they have any guidance on how to uninstall it from your MacBook.
