Facetime (on Macbook pro) does not show video

Macbook Pro (purchased new 1/23) does not show the video of our side during Facetime calls. Other user cannot see video. Audio fine. When camera on/off toggle is selected video will show briefly before tuning off and does not preview video in either case.

Have deleted and reinstalled Facetime. Gone through settings and there doesn't seem to be any allowance issue. Help would like to ft from computer and not just phone
