New Mac Mini, Sandisk was working fine, now it's not mounting

SanDisk Extreme Pro Portable SSD V2 2TB not mounting or showing up in Finder all of a sudden. Not sure if it was due to recent Sequioa update or what.

Shows up in disk utility and diskutil list.

Brand new Mac Mini 2024.

I tried rebooting, unplugging power, new cable, port, etc. I can see the drive as. a volume Mac OS Extended (journaled) in disk utility and 'first aid' works successfully. Clicking mount does nothing.

I have a seagate that is working fine.

Any other ideas?

Mac mini, macOS 15.2

Used disk utility to convert to APFS and that worked! All files intact. Thanks den.thed.

You're welcome.

My seagate time machine drive is on the old format , that one might need a conversion as well.

You're current Time Machine backup is fine formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled).

Besides reformatting it would erase all of the existing backups.
