Can I revert to the Mail App after the iOS 18.2 update

Just updated to 18.2. The Mail App is terrible. I just want it to be how it was, I don’t know, the entire time I’ve been in the iOS ecosystem. You know, like 10+ years.

I have the same question. I absolutely hate the mail update. Who ever thought that was a good idea must really hate humanity.

stop playing “I need to impress my boss by improving things”. No! No you don’t.

It's not anyone needing to impress their boss. It's their boss telling them that the feedback has been tabulated and they need to add a feature people have been asking for.

However, it's a feature you don't need to use if you don't want to. Review the thread for instructions on how to disable it.

my apologies for "adding to the thread". I assumed the newer posts were in the first pages and older in the higher page #s. After page 3 I thought I was just going farther back, I was wrong. BUT, if I may ask: I have 5 email addresses in my mail app and somehow I removed the categories from 3 of them but they still remain on 2. I'm not exactly sure which setting got those to go away? Thank you to all for the advice to get this mail app back to normal!

Thank you every one for the tips, list view and turning off "organize by thread" and/or "complete threads" has me back to the old/good way!
