Suggested strong password is not saved and there's no way to recover

I was changing password in website and used the suggested strong password.

there was no popup asking to save/update the password
the password was not saved and cannot be found anywhere(tried to check if it is saved in a name that is not descriptive but failed)

Please consider the feature to see/recover last few passwords generated by password.

This has happened to both me and my wife recently. Very frustrating as it occurred on my wife’s encrypted email service which then caused her to get locked out of her email. Extremely disappointing that the one major task a password manager is asked to do (ie store your passwords) it utterly fails to do on occasion (albeit intermittently- which is almost more frustrating).
