the hearing aid settings won't come up in my AirPods settings

So I have an iPhone 15 and AirPod pro 2 (both are updated to the latest versions) and when I connect my air pods and go into my AirPod settings I don’t have the option to do the hearing aid test or turn it on the whole hearing aid feature is missing

Is the firmware of your AirPods up to date? For the hearing aid feature to work you'll need version 7B21 See this on how to check your firmware version:

To use your iPhone or iPad to check that your AirPods are up to date, make sure you have the latest version of iOS or iPadOS. Go to Settings > Bluetooth, then tap the Info button next to the name of your AirPods. Scroll down to the About section to find the firmware version.

If so, are you in a region where the hearing test feature is supported? It is not supported in all countries and regions I am afraid:
